Welcome to the Atlantic and Cape May County One Stop Career Centers website. This site will provide you with information on educational classes, GED Testing,  job search activities, job training opportunities, public assistance and a variety of other services to help you improve your job related skills so you may work in today’s fast paced labor market.

If you’re unemployed, recently laid off, underemployed (still working) or a young adult ages 14 to 21, you may be eligible for these services and programs, which are provided free of charge.  All services are provided based on program availability and your eligibility.

LEED Certification Available
Unemployed individuals may be eligible for grant funds to enroll in a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) job training program. Call (609) 485-0052 ext. 104 for more information

Photovoltaic Solar Panel Training
Unemployed or underemployed individuals may be eligible for job training grants to enroll in an entry level solar energy course that includes how solar technology is used, how the sun’s energy is harnessed, economics of solar, PV design and system sizing, installation practices, installation of inverter, racking and modules, and solar installation safety. Interested individuals should call (609) 485-0052 ext. 104.

  Programs offer subsidized employment experiences, job readiness, and employment retention services.
  
• Grants Awarded for Area Youth Employment and Training Programs (9/11/2009)
  Program provide education, work readiness and job training services.
  
• Job Training Grants Available (9/9/2009)
  Individuals who have received Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) during the past five (5) years may be eligible.
  
• Atlantic County Paid Summer Youth Work Study Program (4/2/2009)
  Eleigible youth ages 16 to 24 may participate
  
• Free Re-Employment Sessions Scheduled in Cape May County (4/1/2009)
  There is no cost to attend and no required registration.
